New Ecology Restoration Solution Available for Dramatically Improving Urban, Agricultural, Sport and Public Land
Cutting edge developments in environmental geoscience are leading EnviroPerfect to pioneer organic restoration and improvement of residential, commercial, agricultural and public land, abolishing the need for chemical fertilizers and herbicides/pesticides, with great results.
Edmonton, Alberta (EnviroPerfect) May 1, 2007 -- EnviroPerfect is implementing an environmentally friendly organic solution designed to restore land to a self sustaining, natural, more productive state. This effort seeks to replace artificial land management traditionally using harmful in-organic fertilizers and chemicals. The rewards include the reduction of cancer causing pollutants in our environment, a new tool to fight greenhouse gas emissions, beautification, and reduced water usage, and many other benefits.
Soil biology, the interconnected network of organisms operating below surface plant life, is critical to the type of plants that will grow in that soil, and is responsible for the health, volume and quality of plants above. Repeated tilling of land, and the application of chemicals and fertilizers destroys the natural biology in the soil. Soil biology follows an evolutionary path from desert to weeds to grasses to old growth forests. An act seemingly as simple as putting “weed and feed” on your lawn, regresses the natural state of the lawn from lawn supporting biology back to weed supporting biology.
EnviroPerfect halts the use of destructive artificial compounds on a property, then applies organic solutions designed to target specific micro-organisms in the soil to recreate a soil food web best suited for the plants you wish to grow. The ground breaking geoscience behind EnviroPerfect’s initiative can do in 1 to 3 years what mother nature might do over a hundred years, restoring the damage we’ve done to our lands in a very short period, moving your land from a weed specific biology to lawn or crop supporting biology.
The results lead to: great looking lawns; more productive and better quality agricultural crops; the elimination of cancer causing agents in land care derived from traditional chemical usage; a new tool to battle greenhouse gas emissions; urban beautification for higher quality of life; reduced water usage by as much as 30% or more, which is great for people in water rationed climates; erosion prevention and slope stabilization thanks to significantly longer and denser root structures; and much more.
“Thanks to the research basically pioneered by Dr. Elaine Ingham and her company Soil Foodweb Inc.,” says EnviroPerfect founder Tim Penstone, BSc, “and her wonderfully expert assistance, EnviroPerfect is able to do what no land care company in Edmonton is doing - create a self sustaining, organic based solution that performs exactly the way mother nature intended, with no artificial support. Traditional chemical treatments often give you a great looking lawn, but basically gets your lawn addicted to frequent watering and feeding, just like they were on drugs. Organic fertilizer programs are much better, but, like traditional lawn care, it still requires you to maintain a fertilization program forever, because you’re stimulating the plant life artificially. EnviroPerfect is different, organically bringing back to life a self sustaining system in your soil that eliminates the need for continuous, expensive, and potentially harmful, land care. The EnviroPerfect solution is also child and pet safe. And we can start full treatment as late as August, even in our northern climate.”
EnviroPerfect is dedicated to environmental restoration and urban/agricultural land improvement. The company is targeting everyone - from home owners to commercial land users, from farms and ranches to city sports fields and boulevards. EnviroPerfect currently operates in the Edmonton, Alberta and surrounding areas, including the nearby acreage communities often unserviced by city land care companies. EnviroPerfect, and its sister company Voices of the Soil, is currently partnered with the Cities of Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta to develop municipal restoration and improvement programs specific to their regions, and is actively seeking to expand into other municipalities as well. EnviroPerfect also has franchise and landscaper partnership programs to help expand across North America and even internationally. EnviroPerfect’s goal is have as many people benefit from this new initiative as possible.
With a new and developing web presence, new staff, new equipment and fed by a continuous stream of ongoing lab and research development, EnviroPerfect is expanding and improving. The heart and soul of EnviroPerfect is its people, passionately dedicated to friendly service and improving the world in which we all live.

About EnviroPerfect:
EnviroPerfect was founded by some of the same individuals responsible for Voices of the Soil and behind Edmonton’s Community Garden Network, and the Cityfarm Project, a non-profit learning and activity center which brings children into contact with natural and rural environments, without leaving the city. Edmonton’s Cityfarm is based on similar highly successful models found in major European cities. To attend, volunteer, and provide much needed donations to the Edmonton Cityfarm Project, please contact Cityfarm at 488-2500, or www.city-farm.org.
EnviroPerfect’s founders Tim and Susan Penstone created EnviroPerfect as a commercial enterprise capable of quickly implementing and expanding revolutionary environmental land restoration techniques throughout the region at a rate of success a non-profit model would not be able to achieve nearly as quickly. A portion of EnviroPerfect’s Edmonton based proceeds go to help the Edmonton Cityfarm Project and Community Garden Network as a private donation.
